I'm not a big Alia fan. I thought she was overacted.

I did like their interaction though. Good composition.

Yeah, from where I am in the books, she makes a little more sense to me. She's only 15 when Duncan is introduced (although having the lifetimes of all the other people in her would make her wise beyond her years, but I digress...).

I just started Dune Messiah. I'm about 10 pages into it. I'll probaby have a better opinion of her once I finish the book.

Hee - I just finished it. Lol. It's a fast read and I love how there are many lines the movie take directly from the text.

But I'm not sure the book is going to excuse overacting... LOL

I like this topic, I as well find it very interesting to see what people choose to display.
