The one thing I can say is that the 4th and 5th seems a bit too saturated, but it's more a personal opinion

I feel all of them looks pretty great. For me judging icons are difficult at times because of the quality of pictures and we all love different coloring.

I'll say that the last one of Olicity seems a bit stretched out... but it's probably because it's not zoomed out, so it's not much of an issue but that's really the only thing I can say about that one.

I really believe all the icons are great though so it's all really subjective in a way.

Found what I was looking for when 20in20 is fully completed will be bringing my batch in here for Constructive Criticism and advice/tips I personally think its one of my best batches where learnt a new technique and felt that I did well

Might bring some over at that point as well. I need some feedback on effects I thought would work but ended up being pretty "meh".

"meh" to you probably but impressive to us I have 3 for sure but bringing entire batch

You did really well with the challenge

For the category set I love your take on the theme. It was unique & that really stood out for me. However a downside to your black & white (& can be an issue when you change colouring like that) is that it makes your icons darker. Especially the last two. For me I'd be looking at adjusting the brightness/contrast on those to help make Kara stand out more in them. A more complicated thing would be to try adjust it only for her but leaving the background in more shadow so she stands out from it some more.

Another thing to watch is the quality of the images used, but most of those look of decent quality. Then picking interesting compositions. For me I'd try stay away from keeping everything centred. For some things it works, but other times you can create a far interesting piece when it isn't. For me your icons which jump out at me are the ones with more interesting compositions. They tell more of a story & are more appealing. But this is also coming from someone who isn't a fan of centred icons so I may be bias there. I think you have already been doing this but play around with composition. Make multiple icons from the one image & see how each of them feel to you. This speaks a bit about different compositions.

For your texture one, firstly well done. The only thing jumping at me (other than composition) is the cutting. Try using a soft round eraser brush on the outside to smooth off the edges. Especially around her hair. This will help unite your picture with the new texture background.

If you want I can comment on every icon, that's just a quick observation. A sleepy one at that
