Seems to be a common trend in people that are in my life, so don't worry you're not alone

I still feel like a newbie when it comes to icon making, I just make generic icons atm I want to start learning how to work with layer masks a little more fluently like yourself

I started out with simplicity and stuck with it, it's only recently that I started playing with layers when it comes to icons.

^ Yeah I think it's best to start from the bottom then slowly start to get more experimental
