[Si_Crazy]

This is a place to showcase and keep track of icons we used in the month. Gonna do it like renting a room in a hotel per month, except this is a retirement home. Just post once, and then keep editing that original post to keep the record of your avatars for the month. We'll keep a list in the OP so it's easy to find your post.


Rules:

• If you want to create a space, just post here. That will then become your room. Please don't post your avatars in another post after you've rented the space. The idea is to have a concise Retirement home without outside posts for that month And if you exceed the image limit (35 icons) then put some behind spoiler tags.
• A mod will make a post announcing the opening of a new month, and after that you can make a new thread to post icons you're using in that month. (Don't make a new post with your icons before that, if the month isn't opened in the thread yet as specified in the title, just continue editing your previous space/room, to make it easier for us to update the OP)
• These avatars are not for snagging unless you ask permission from the person who made/posted them
• If you didn't make the icon, you need to add credit to them (it can be by adding a link to the icon directing to the artist) or if you don't know who made it, just state it as unknown or something, since we don't want any problems with people thinking we're stealing their work.
• Please just edit your post instead of add a new post when you change an avatar
• When a thread reaches 300 posts a mod will open the new thread, however we will not close the previous one containing your room/space until the month ends, so you should continue to edit your original space.
• You can comment on people's avatars and all, just don't post avatars outside of your original space/room.
• This isn't a place to post avatars you've made recently so please only post avatars you've used
• Retirement does not mean you can never use them again, its just a place to store them. You can pull a Michael Jordan anytime you want
• If you change your username, you need to let us know here to edit it in the list.

I can't take the credit for it, this was actually created by FA mods back in 2008, but since there hasn't been activity there I've decided to fresh'em up and give it another try

I know we can forget icons we used... for February right in the first day of the month I'll open the month on the thread, so we can go and post/edit it as we change icons, so no one will get lost

I think so too I know some posters love to change icons from time to time, so it will be fun to see how many they have during the month

So I have a question, since I can be a picky person with how it looks once I put in on as my icon. Do you want us to post all our icons, including ones we just 'try on' or just post the ones we stick with for at least an hour or more?

I guess it counts if you stick with the icon for a little while, but that's totally up to each one it's your post to show the icons you use during the month
Just remember that it's not a thread to show all the icons you've made (that's for each artist's thread is for), this is for icons that you used. so if you think it applies you can post here

I love this idea! Its also great to look at the types of fandoms people are choosing from. If we use a Ff avatar and don`t know the artist, what should we put?

I think that if you don't know or if it's a standard avatar, just put "unknown artist"
