Ok, only one set challenged each other after two weeks or so of Round One. I am really disappointed. I thought everyone liked this idea.

To tell you the truth Tina, I like the idea. The problems for me is that I'm not good with fan artwork (which is why I asked about using stock pictures), not having enough time to make new ones from scratch, and the fact that my adapter had suffered a freak accident.

I've been thinking, and thought perhaps I didn't make myself clear in the beginning. So, I want to re-cap a few things to make things clearer for you all.

(Just in case some people just completely didn't get the rules -- they are a lot!

)

ENTERING 1 vs 1:

If you want to participate, you need to fill out this form:

username:
Name:
What catergory do you think fits you? (Beginner, Intermediate, or Expert):
Show us your 3 best icons/banners:

SETTING UP CHALLENGES:

In order for you to be in a round, you must set up a challenge. When you send a PM to me, the PM should look like the following:

Icon/Banner:
Any restrictions?
Picture (s):

And I will set you up with someone that is in your "league". And you two will battle it out with the challenge that was set up (choice being an icon or banner).

VOTING:

When I put up the voting, it will look something like this:

Challenge A:
Poster A and Poster B
#1 (icon/header) #2 (icon/header)

and so on, just like in the OP.

You will then send a PM to me with the number you like best. Like this:

Challenge A: #1 or #2 (whichever you like best).

I think these "cliff notes" make things easier for everyone. I would love for this thread to strive just like LIMS!

I love how differently we both interpreted the picture.

I look forward to seeing what other posters challenge each other with. It's a fun contest.

For example... I can tell of my experience...

I set up my challenge with Majora's Mask. First, I sent in a PM stating that I wanted to set up a challenge. Tina gave me my challenger. Then, I chose the picture I wanted to be used for our challenge. Tina gave that image to my challenger. And, then we were given the allotted time to complete our challenge icon.
