Party time people!

I started out lurking on this board, intimidated by all the pretties
It took me a bit before I had the courage to open my own thread. And I'm so glad I did, I should've done it sooner!
What I truly appreciate about this board, is that there is so much support.
Whether it be moodboards, gifsets, banners, icons, drawings or just the sharing of arts, it's all met with enthusiasm and support.
This is one of the most warm and inspiring boards fanforum has and I always look forward to log in and come back to see what new work was created.
You wonderful people, this board now has 250K posts.
Posts filled with beautiful artworks, off topic talk and support.
I really feel lucky to be moderator of this fantastic board!

Congratulations to all of us who made it to 250K posts on this amazing board! This is a team work and I'm beyond happy to have been part of it!

This is the best board! I'm biased I know, but this place is so full of positive energy and beautiful arts. Part of what makes me love this board so much is how supportive everybody is towards others artwork. This is a place for us to have fun and find the encouragement we need to flourish our artistic side

I'd like to thank every single poster here for making the board so active and such a beautiful place (with all the arts and nice chats going around), you guys rock!
And also a special thank you to my Paula for being such an energetic person and a great friend, it's incredibly fun being your co-mod

Congratulations to this wonderful board 250k is so huge

i love to create art especially on computer cause i dont need to draw as much , but i love the idea to create to learn and mix things together to explore art in every shape and form .

one thing i do enjoy is making arts/banners/icons of my fav celebs or tv shows as i can show everyone why i love them and share with other fans the love of a show/celeb that we all share , i do get really happy when i see a fellow poster using my icons it is rewarding

this baord is so nice and so kind and so open to everyone who post here are so sweet they are helpful and are all great artist , i love looking and seeing what each and everyone has created . art is beautiful that way .

Congrats on 250k, everyone. What an amazing milestone to celebrate and this is certainly a board which deserves it. Si, Paula (and previously Theresa and Jessica) have made this such an enjoyable board to post on ... I always feel welcome posting here even though I don't get to post as regularly as I'd like and that's because of the great/positive posting environment here. It's also a great place to check out other posters' lovely work which inspires me to make better icons/arts etc too. To many, many more years on for the Fanart board!

Absolutely amazing that the board has hit 250K and love being apart of the board especially when 3 years ago never saw myself doing graphics but now am loving it. I really find the board helpful to be able to have an art thread to have my art in a center place plus get feedback. Here's to many more milestones

It’s great that the boad has reached 250K.

It was joining and it was Sebastian that got me started with making fan art, which then led to me making for other fandoms, like Doctor Who, Daredevil and Stranger Things. It’s my love of vaious fandoms that inspires me to make art.

Then I discovered this board and found a way of sharing my art with more people, which it’s great, but I also really love seeing other people’s art

The fanart board will always have a very special place in my heart; being the first board I modded. I'm proud to see it flourish with so much activity, encouraging posters to share their art, even those that didn't feel adequate enough, and for me, graphics has always been a passion and hobby of mine, even found myself doing it during exam revision at school! I love this board, and I hope it continues to be supportive, fun and an enyjoyable outlet for all its artists.

This board is one of the best ones on because it's the only board where you get to see everyone's talent. Whether it's videos, fanfiction, gifs, icons, drawings or just any form of art. I love this board for that! People can ask how to improve on certain graphics, and fans will help, or certainly try to find time to help. It's really one of the few boards where it's filled with mostly compliments. We all wish one another well and by compliments elevate each other to want to make more graphics and get better by doing it! I love how this is really a board for anyone, because everyone can make art (even if you don't know it yet). So, for this board to be celebrating 250,000k post is such a huge achievement which shows that talent is something that can keep a discussion going.

I am a very fortunate person to be able to do ANY form of art, from videos, to icons, to gifs and even just splashing brushes together on Photoshop and seeing what shows up.
My main passion is editing videos because it's the first form of art I fell for. I just loved editing video clips to match a song! and than came icons, which I made because I saw great ones and I wondered how to do that and it didn't start out great because I didn't know what I was doing but I kept pacing myself to get better and now I can't even believe how difficult it was. I think the MAIN thing that people misunderstand is the Program that you use. Yes, Photoshop is the most famous and best one to use, however, just cause you use Photoshop does not mean you'll be the best artist. It's all up to the person. The best OP I made on this board was with GIMP! and it was because I wanted the OP to be one of the greatest and that's what I got.

Congratulations to 250k post and I hope this board is around a long time to celebrate a lot more.
