It really was a great event, but the ratio of male vs female performances was....ugh. I’m really hoping there will be more support and releases from the ladies this year

SM’s first new release of the year is a Japanese one.

I mean, what is the actual ratio of active SM artists? Even if it wasn't intentional, I think it would be hard for them to balance it out.

The ratio is completely uneven which is the problem

I don't think it will ever be equal, but it could be better. Hopefully it will be better

But a lot of the big companies are this way with female representation.

I think they were more equal when they had BoA, GG, f(x) and Red Velvet in the lineup. But still a lot of them have left, it's been a lot of males. It doesn't help that they keep on adding more to NCT.
