But fun surprise! I had some Barnes & Noble gift cards from the holiday and on a whim I checked if they sold kpop stuff on the website and was happy to find out that they did :thud: So I bought Red Velvet's Ice Cream Cake mini album and didn't spend any of my own money.

It came today! :yay: I'll get a photo later. It ended up being the Automatic version which I was only slightly bummed about ;) It's still absolutely gorgeous annnnnd I got Joy's photocard! :bunny:

It was surely the more popular version so there's likely not as many of those copies lying around :nod: But the Automatic version is still gorgeous :love: I think my favorite packaged kpop album so far :nod: Not that I have many :lol:

I think it's pretty rare from what I heard so that's probably why they have more copies of the Automatic version.

I prefer the other one more maybe because it's more colourful. But I need to try and collect the rest of their albums too.

I have fallen for the version I got :nod: The other version would have had photos from the ICC music video which would have been nice! But they look darn good in the Automatic mv also. :sigh:

I'll gradually get more of their albums :nod: At first I was going to start with the earlier ones and make my way forward, but after skimming through some album unboxing videos I decided it make more sense for me to get the albums that I like the look and packaging of the most first. Then eventually the others. Honestly there were a couple albums where I could tell SM was being rather cheap. :look:

I agree with you about the packaging. I'm still annoyed that some of them ended up being jewel cases when they could of done so much more :pout:
