Another interesting thing I missed since I've parted ways with the Twitter fandom is the fact that Wheein had announced she'd open an IG account in a Vlive apparently and Moos have been waiting for a few weeks now and are surprised it's Hwasa and not her getting one... if that's true it's 3/4 members soon

It is RBW were too scared of them getting hate and even stopped allowing them to interact on social media (fancafe aside) after a while as a reaction to all the Netizen "controversies" (Solar e.g. used to reply to Tweets on the official Mamamoo twitter account back in the day). RBW is ridiculously protective of them I already wrote how Byul slowly turned her "video editing" IG into a personal one, no idea how Solar convinced RBW to be allowed to open a YT channel and the two maknaes didn't have any interest in opening YT ("too much work") or IG ("I don't know how to") the last time they were asked about it
I know it sounds negative, but my guess is that the pressure for them to open one was getting too much, especially with Hwasa... RBW must have been flooded with complaints because "they didn't promote the collab with Dua"/"they don't care about international fans" (this fandom's go-to complaints) and because Hwasa didn't "interact with/respond" to Dua on social media... there have been mass-mail campaigns to have them open social media accounts even before that so... we'll see how it turns out Good to know they're more open to it now

Looked around Twitter to find info on Wheein's IG plans, but the only thing I found is this...

So, we have to be a little patient (maybe she'll open it on her birthday in two weeks?)
It might not happen anytime soon: Solar has said that her YT channel is tons of work already and that she doesn't see the point when she can just post a pic in the community section every now and then. ETA: Also:
