Well I'm glad they all decided not to resign to JYP since they haven't been treating them right in so long.

And it looks like almost all of them have posted the same photo on their social media accounts.

It's sad to know that we won't be seeing them as a group, at least not often, but it's nice to know that they are doing what they want for themselves.

I legit cried my eyes out last night after Mark posted that mssg and photo in his tweet.
It just seemed like a goodbye. But they aren’t disbanding? Just like.. focusing on their solo careers I guess? I don’t think we’ll see them as often together. I would love it if we did though. But with them in different agencies then it would be hard. But I am looking forward to seeing what everyone comes out with.

My question is.. if GDA was their last group thing, what about the SMA’s? That hasn’t even happened yet. Or were they saying it was the last group thing while they were all under JYPE?

Well it's officially confirmed by JYPE now that they are leaving the company.

I'm sure they will still see each other but not as often as before. But I do agree it's nicer that they get to decide on what they want to do now. It's their last group activity in JYPE because their contracts end on January 19th. I'm not even sure if they will end going to SMA since that is after they have left.

A tough way to start the year for the fans

Sadly I don't think they will be going to anymore events together. They do seem to have a very strong and genuine bond so I do believe they will work to stay in one another's lives and they'll want to stay connected with the fans. Maybe one day we'll get to see them perform together again though I do believe that day will be far down the road should it happen. Also not sure if they'd be able to use the Got7 name if they ever reunited to make music since that is a copyright of JYPE. But I think it's about them all going on their own journeys and I wish them the best

They’re gonna own the GOT7 name

so no one has to worry about that
I’m excited to see what they’ll do. After Jinyoung said they’d do another album together I’m not concerned. We won’t see them together as often, but at least they’re not disbanding.

It’s really impressive that they managed to keep the name. That has been such a battle in the past for groups so kudos to them and whoever helped to make sure that would happen

Also, did anyone see ONCE’s spreading crap about Jinyoung? He had did a drama years ago and a scene in there is of a girl giving him CPR, but anti’s are twisting it and turning it into something it’s not.. by saying he’s a pedo for kissing an underaged girl. Cuz the actress was 14 at the time. It was CPR... and it was acting.
