I know some of the EXO-Ls have messaged the artist who animated the video to let them know what is going on. Wonder if they can put a stop to it since it is probably copyrighted by SM.

Knowing SM, they won't. They're not even lifting a finger to protect their artists from slander and cyberbullying. Although they just might because this is someone profiting off their works and no one can profit unless SM also profits.
