Hi everyone ,

The Fan Forum Graphics Team is in the process of (re)customising message boards and now it's your turn!

If you have any picture or colour suggestions please post them in this thread. Don't post (hotlink) the pictures, links to them are fine. Make sure that the pictures are of as high quality as possible and that the top of the head of the person in the picture isn't cropped off. We also like to use photoshoot images when possible, preferably individual pictures of each cast member. When suggesting colours please keep in mind that some colours will work better than others. The Team usually tries to avoid really vibrant and dark colours because we have found in the past that they are hard to look at for long periods of time. If you would like some help coming up with colour combinations we recommend checking out the design seeds website.

Everyone is encouraged to voice their opinions for this as you are the ones who will be posting on the board and we hope to make as many people happy with the finished result as possible. It does not matter if you are a board moderator, regular poster, or casual poster here. If you have a suggestion, please share it here with us .

Your suggestions for possible pictures and colours will be taken into serious consideration, but in the interest of seeing every board receive the best customised look possible the final decision concerning how this board will be customised will be made by the members of the Graphics Team. This is because we want to make sure that the selected graphic and colours fit into the overall design scheme that we've established for Fan Forum.

For a full explanation of the message board customisation process, see this thread. If you have any questions, please feel free to send Mel, Chelle, or Rora a PM or ask the Team on the message board customisation thread.

Please leave this topped until a week or so after the board has been (re)customised.

Note: It usually takes less than two weeks for us to finish making the new banner and the sooner we know what you want, the more we can work on it (though it can take a few months or so to set it up with the new colours on the board), so please let us know your suggestions as soon as possible.

When the Team have made and voted on a winning graphic I will close this thread until the graphic and colours get put up. It will then be re-opened so that you can share your thoughts about it.

I'm not sure who all you want in the banner, but I know that the definite ones are Peter, Gamora, Drax, Groot, and Rocket. Anyone else? Nebula? Mantis?

Photos are going to be a bit difficult here

And this is prob another board that will have red in it, but minimal

idk if Nebula should be in, but I think she is more in (as a guardian) after Infinity Wars.

What colors are you thinking of Nikole??

I was the other way around

I wasn't sure if Mantis should be in, but was thinking Nebula prob should be. Since Nebula has been in since the beginning, and Mantis came in the 2nd one. Both ladies then? And curious if we're doing baby Groot or full grown Groot?

Yes what are your thoughts Nikole?

And any others feel free to add your thoughts as well

As far as pics, do they need too be group shots?

Colors, maybe something with blue, yellow, and red? Since those are the movie colors. What do y'all think color wise? Definitely blue and red I'm thinking.

We prefer individual promotional pictured to group shots if possible (more information about the sort of pictures we prefer to use can be found in the OP of this thread

In regards to colours, red is a harsh colour so we try to avoid using it or only use it minimally. I recommend taking a look at the design seeds website to see if there's any colour schemes you like on there

I had a quick look at some which may work

Is there even any individual photos for the characters?

Only ones I've seen are for the 1st movie, which was back in 2014, so do we want those old ones?

And even then, there wouldn't be one for Mantis, since she joined in the 2nd movie.

I had seen these ones that are like this for the 2nd movie, but I don't think some of those would even work (with individual HQ ones I mean).

ETA: I found some Asian individual posters, and some of them might work?

I'm not sure if Starlord would based on the size of the picture, but it might. Gamora, Rocket, & Mantis wouldn't because the pictures are too small. I'm also unsure on those pictures since some have the purple tone while others don't - it may make it hard for the team to match them all. If they all had that purple tone & were of a decent size/quality though it'd be fine

Also I found all those photos here too (which you'd have to scroll down to find everyone as they're mixed in with the other Avengers/characters).

I love those ones! But I heard that they aren't any good because of the purplish tint too them. They are lovely though!

Providing they are all there it'll be fine. My only concern over the purple was matching skin tones for characters without it. There's nothing wrong with the pictures being purple & if we have to match some who aren't purple then we can do that too

I said no to some of your pictures because of the size not the purple tone

I agree with the main characters being in the banner

Maybe even Mantis/Nebula.

I see this board having blue and purple tones.
