HISTORY
Fifth Harmony, as we’ve known it for almost 5 years has been formed on the second
season of the X Factor US on July 27th, 2012. The group originally had 5 members: Ally
Brooke, Normani Kordei, Dinah Jane, Lauren Jauregui and Camila Cabello. The latest has
decided on December 18th, 2016 to leave the group to pursue her career as a solo artist.

In December 2012, they finished in the third place on the X Factor US edition, with Simon
Cowell adding “I have a feeling that we’re gonna be hearing and seeing a lot more of
these girls in the future”. Right after the show, the girls have signed a record deal with
Syco Music and Epic Record as a group but also as solo artists.
In 2013, they released their debut single “Miss Moving on” which music video was later
on 2014, the winner of the MTV Video Music Awards for Artist to Watch. At the end of
2013, their first EP “Better Together” was released followed by a Mall Tour across the USA.
In 2014, they joined forces with former X Factor judges Demi Lovato, on her Neon Light
Tour, where they were her opening acts along with Little Mix,…

Their debut EP, “Better Together” (October 2013), had a first week position of number six on
the U.S. Billboard 200. The group released their debut studio album Reflection (February 2015),
debuting at number five on the Billboard 200 and receiving a gold certification from the RIAA.
The album includes the platinum singles "Boss", "Sledgehammer" and "Worth It". The latter
achieved triple platinum certification in the U.S. and reached the top 10 in thirteen countries.
"Work from Home", the lead single from their sophomore album 7/27 (May 2016), became
the group's first top 10 single on the U.S. Billboard Hot 100 and the first top 5 by a
girl group in a decade in that chart which made history again…

At the end of 2016, Camila decided to leave the group letting Lauren, Normani, Dinah &
Ally in charge of the future of Fifth Harmony. 2017 was the renewal of Fifth Harmony who
took charge of the making of their self-titled album "Fifth Harmony" was released on
August 2017.
