I am on episode 1. I am hoping that there is a twisted side to Love. Joe is a psycho but I do enjoy his narration. He has good dark humor sometimes

Honestly, in real life, I don't forgive anyone for doing something horrible. However, when it comes to tv shows and movies, I do. I guess it's easy to do when I know shows and movies are fake and the character's are written in such a way. But in real life, people who do stuff like this are truly awful people.

With all of that, yes he is creepy and a stalker, BUT hes not the most evil of evil out there. Like hes not killing just to kill most of the time . He does kill to protect his secrets and such. Dont get me wrong I am not saying hes worthy of people fawning over at ALL, hes still gross imo but the show could write him a bit darker I think.

Yeah he kills to protect himself. I don't really see him as a monster but he is a creep but Penn is so good at it!

I agree in real life, I would want joe to be arrested right away. I don't romanticize joe, I just enjoy his pov and some of his scenes. Plus the person who created joe was a women who said joe was essentially her negative thoughts lol. It's fiction so I can be more rooting and enjoy more characters. One of my favorite characters on ouat was Hook who was a redeemed villain, who in real life I would want in jail. Although Hook was working hard on his redemption and had remorse so it's why I shipped him with someone and glad he had a happy ending. With Joe, I want him to be killed or in jail but I am willing to wait a while, so we can have a show lol

Considering real serial killers are being romanticizied, there's really no difference between fiction and reality. Ted Bundy is a prime example of that, Netflix had to tweet about people who were making him seem desirable.

And imo Joe is a monster, he doesn't just kill to protect himself, he kills women who break his heart because he thinks he's the only good choice for them and that nobody can love them as much as he does. That's also a real life danger a lot of women face. And he justifies all the other murders because he thinks he's superior to the men he kills.

I have four episodes left but Joe is literally the same person he was in seaosn 1, there's no remorse, no attempt to redeem himself. When he talks to Love in the voice overs he sounds the same way as he did when he talked to Beck and said how he was doing it for them.
