Ugh.
 I know this sounds weird coming from a Hopper (well, a David Harbour) fan, but I'd rather they had the guts to keep him dead. That would have been way more shocking and game-changing than pulling the fan-pleasing trick of having him turn up alive. I don't expect many people to agree with me on this, but I hate that they did the obvious thing here just to keep people watching. I mean, they could have done something else - if they wanted to keep the actor in the show, they could have shown him in flashbacks or maybe as some vision from the Upside Down coming to warn the Byers of impending danger.  __________________
