we dont need ACTION ACTION ACTION at all moments. its called build up and pacing. it was nice imo to see some more character driven/emotional scenes before things got crazy.

I was glad when El lost her powers so they wont be a burden on her but I feel like they are part of her identity now and will want them back.

Im sure shell be able to have a normal life by the end of it.

yeah, she clearly feels out of place without them even more than before cause she couldn't even do normal things like reaching that teddy bear on the top shelf which was unusual for her

so it'll take some time getting used to til she gets them back
