I just realized why the Malec part of Season 3 seems to be influenced by later storylines. It's because they basically don't have one in book 4. it's their roadtrip book.  __________________

Drama is fun, yes. But drama doesn't need to be at the expense of the couple. The drama doesn't need to revolve around them being in a relationship, especially when you're in a supernatural world. Like there aren't enough problems around. The show got that, the books didn't.
