I thought it was just me who preferred them as friends, so that's nice to know. Honestly, Ruby/Otis could really be something imo. They randomly got together after a party and kinda bonded after that. It's not really out of the blue too much imo.

that's true. which is why i said they hooked up and then bonded after that. a lot of relationships can start that way.

I agree but them hooking up was out of the blue to me, I’m not talking about them bonding afterward. I didn’t expect the writers to handle Otis losing his virginity that way considering how much emphasis they put on it.
