It was so wasteful to introduce such an important character like Jurgen only to kill him off literally five minutes later. A power-hungry former Knight who knows magic and got trapped in the Vade Maecum for 60 years after the other werewolves stopped him from bonding with it in the 1950s, resulting in Silverback being imprinted with the last page and hidden away? There's so many cool stories they could've told with that character.

Did the Knights always need the hides to transform, or did the original werewolves become the hides when hey died? Did the hides exist before the Knights, or did the Knights create the hides later? Are there werewolves who aren't part of the Knights of Saint Christopher?

It would be a ridiculously one-sided conflict if the only people standing against a Illuminati-level Order were literally six beer-drinking college students who barely know what they're doing. It'd be interesting to see another, more experienced pack of werewolves come along and teach them.
