I just don't see how it would've hurt anything to tell us at least what was causing it (even if they never showed us an actual "monster"). B/c there were just way more questions than answers. Besides what was causing it we also had the why were there some people who immediately were suicidal but others could see and live.

I get that they stuck to the book but it wouldn't be the first time that a movie took a different path from the book, especially for those of us who never read the book.

I'm just not someone who likes to be left with a mystery with no resolution. Unless they're planning a sequel (which I could see them doing).

I just don't think it was important at all. We know what happens when they see it, basic psychology tells us that people react differently to everything. No explanation was needed.

I am okay with not seeing the monsters I am not a horror buff and don't want the nightmares lol. I do see the movies if they get good review. However I did want answers on why some people could see the monsters and where they came from

Everyone could see them, they just reacted differently.

I meant why some people could see the monsters and commit suicide and others wouldn't be effected and try to encourage others to see them

They did see them, some people just didn't commit suicide. You could tell when someone living had seen them because of their eyes, that's why they were checking them.

I think some people were the vessel of the monster. I have a feeling it's because their minds were wired differently.

I felt a very distinct need on explaining that.. because for me they movie is really very silly with not explaining it..

And the end.. I mean.. nobody ever thinks about blind people? and the psychos jsut don't find them and they are save there? Ugh.. buh.. really bad.. IMO

book or movie whatever for me it's just weird and in the end not a good story without any explaination

Yeah, I agree.. Plus some pointed it out that some can last longer and some don't.. It's all about on how they react to it..
