I loved bird box. I like films where you don't get everything handed to you.

I'm now watching Hangman. Not sure if it's a Netflix film, but it's on there. And that's been really good too

They're important, imo. Getting everything handed to you is kinda boring sometimes.

Weird, here in brazil it was straight to netflix and is listed as a netflix original. Hence my confusion.

It's only a limited release at cinemas, might have to do with making the movies eligible for the Oscars and other awards.

Bird Box doesn't have any nominations yet but Roma has been nominated for 3 Golden Globes.

No, it's a movie by Alfonso Cuarón but it's semi-autobiographical.

From wikipedia:
