I think this is easily one of the best shows on Netflix, and if you're into serial killers and profiling in general it's an absolute must-watch. I love John Douglas' book, which inspired the show, and I'm glad he was a consultant. But my favorite thing about the show has to be how they choose to handle their cases. It's surprisingly non-violent for a show that deals with such horrific acts, and there's no torture porn nor any focus on the crime as it happens. It was a fantastic choice and proof that good shows/films about true crimes can be done without exploiting the victims' stories.

Yes, I loved that too. Their main focus were the serial killers and figuring out how their mind work.

I watched 3 episodes of this one and couldn't get into it...the main character bored me. I still wanna try to finish it, though, for Anna Torv

I felt the same thing after ten minutes.. I'm norally into that kind of thing but maybe I wasn't focues enough becasue I think it's one of those shows you have to really focus on it...

It was the opposite for me. I was immediately hooked and then read articles about the accuracy.

I think I didn't have the quiet minute to be fully commited to the show.. becasue I think it sounds really cool..
but I had the same with GOT.. I had to rewatch the first six or seven episodes because I had no idea what the people's names were (apart from Ned )

I started watching it expecting not to like it but I think it got better as it went on. I only watched it initially because it is filmed in the Pittsburgh area, where I grew up and one of our mods, Julie worked as a background extra on the show and I ended up really liking it.

I definitely had this issue at first. I watched the first episode and was bored & almost quit (also I wasn't really paying attention). My sister convinced me to stick with it. I became hooked but only after I paid closer attention to the plot.
