Plus, trying to think what it was that Will actually did to have the control over the robot he does...
My theory, he saved the robot from being extinguished so maybe that is seen as a debt. With Dr. Smith, she didn’t save it from anything.  Anyone else have any thoughts or theories on the “ownership” of the robot and why it falls to Will? |

Hmm, I'm not really sure. Could just be the first human that showed it kindness and attempted to defend it? So it could feel indebted to him?

And when we think robot we think artificial intelligence or in other words created by humans, so what’s to say it doesn’t have its own alien consciousness having nothing o do with its creator. |

I agree, but when it comes to Will saving it’s life when it did, there was human involvement in its life, so how does that effect it?
