I think Monster High was released first? I'm not sure. Ever After High had the same format as a webseries/short episodes and then Netflix took it over for it's following seasons. They made it a couple of 4-parters focused on a specific adventure so almost like movies.

It's the version of the fairy tales instead of the mosterous ones. There's the royals (like daughters of Snow White, Prince Charming, etc) and then the Rebels (children of the Evil Queen, The Huntsman...)
I've always wondered if Descendants got the idea from this.  __________________
