Thanks for starting this thread. I haven't watched "Handmaid's Tale" at all, so can't compare it to this show.

I can see why people compare them. Both Black Mirror and Handmaid's tale are set in dysphoric worlds.

I don't watch Handmaid's Tale, so don't know the specific story but there are several totalitarian countries around the world, and China had that one child per family policy for 30+ years, so it's not really that far-fetched.

Personally I have seen fear that it can happen in the Us but I am like no. In some come countries yes. If it was the Handmaids tale I feel a bunch of politicians and celebrities would be on the execution wall. I just feel that future is to extreme but I am not going to get into that

Where as the world of black mirror I have seen snippets of things like Nosedive and hated in the nation in the us

Well China an argument could be made is overpopulated. I don't think that one child per family policy came out of thin air. The film "1984" is another great example of a totalarian government.

At the end of the day, it makes us rethink the world we live in. I think that's the point of this dysphoric genre.

I'm watching episode 102 where there's I guess a singing or dancing competition that this "Abi Khan" is going to sing, but not without being degraded first. Geez.

season 1 was really good from what I remember. Also how could anyone forget the first episode. It really sets it off.

Oh yeah. Well I not seen that episode in I think a year, but that's the 1 where everyone records what everybody does I believe with their memory.

people usually remember the best and the worst. I was watching season 4 this week and there was one episode where I thought it wasn't all that good.

Yeah, but since that was the only episode that I had seen of this show I didn't have anything to compare it to about being "best or worst". It was better than the episode of that season I watched tonight I'd say & tomorrow I should be able watch the remaining episodes of season 1.

I remember all the episodes. But I love the series.

The only episode from season 4 I didnt like was Metalhead the black and white one. Arkangel and Crocodile were meh too but I loved the other 3 episodes in that season. 401 is probably my favorite BM episode!

as for titles, i like the last two.
