I think it would have made more sense if like...the decisions you choose bring you to an ending and you can start all over and try another outcome... not like it rewinds a bit and you choose again then rewinds and you ..choose again and... the outcomes just don't happen or it just doesn't make sense.

It does make sense.. some are just dead ends and they don't want to make tyou watch it all from the beginning.. and others the main character is obviously learning from.. which is one of the main things the movie adresses

As Holly said, the purpose of those choose your own path adventures is that some paths lead nowhere. You can choose to go back, try different answers, outcomes.
