It'll be tricky to see what the plot for the sequel will be, since the movie already covered the first part of book 2.

I hope that the sequel shows more of Lara Jean's Korean heritage

... it's not too prominent in the books but it's referenced once in a while, and she wore a traditional Korean dress at one point.

That would be great and it can be done so easily. Just have Peter ask her questions about Korean culture and traditions.

That's a great and simple way to incorporate that into the sequel.

True, much like her dad who cooks Korean food from time to time (and as a way for them to keep the memory of their mother alive), it would be a great way of showing her how much he cares about her and her heritage/background.
