DESPERATE – After Jennifer (China Anne McClain) and Khalil (Jordan Calloway) escape, they take refuge in a barn and Jennifer desperately tries to save a now feverish Khalil, who has grown worse from Cutter’s poisonous blade. Meanwhile, Jefferson (Cress Williams), Lynn (Christine Adams) and Anissa (Nafessa Williams) try everything they can to track down Jennifer and Khalil. Still not overly crazy that Jen is avoiding her family like the plague. What's this really about? Her fam is worried sick over her, was even at the hospital asking about/for her, & she just gave them the slip? This girl is really working my last nerve!!:mad:
Other than that, like I said last week, this storyline is way more interesting than the previous 7 eps.

And what's the story behind "Todd Green"? Is Tobias grooming him to be the next Painkiller? And who was the guy at the end who destroyed that redneck bar? I figure BL is gonna have his hands full when the season starts back up!

So BL is moving to Mondays in January. Hope I don't forget to watch...

yeah i have no idea about who that mystery guy is at the bar or why Tobias is grooming that young kid. those are both good questions. but i guess he needs another young protege' to take over since Khalil is no longer around.

and yea i dont understand why jen wants nothing to do with her family either. i mean i get why she felt confined to her room, but that is no reason to run away.

This was an interesting episode. Khalil's mom is no fan of his dad apparently. At least they are not married. Was this the first time his dad was mentioned on this show? Seems odd to wait until about halfway through the 2nd season to do that, but oh well. He also has a brother I think I just learned of from watching this episode.

I will say coincidences such as Jenn being at the same hospital at the same exact time as her parents was annoying. I mean come on. She was there briefly I believe, but still saw her parents if I'm not mistaken before she left. I will point out also that it is odd how Gambi is trying to track Khalil & Jenn down.:lol: I know this is a superhero based show, but this is not how kids are found at all.

Also, I didn't need to hear Jeff & Gambi argue about wearing a special suit. I mean, make a choice Jeff & stick with it. Wear the suit or don't.

Finally, as smart as that Todd guy supposedly is, it's odd that he is mixed up with Tobias. Seemed like he would know better.

i think the father was mentioned briefly once before in an earlier episode but i dont remember when.

yeah i dont know why todd is getting involved with tobias. he should know tht is going to lead to trouble or death
