When patients from the hospital's prescription drug trial start suffering life threatening side effects, Nic fears that her sister Jessie may be in danger. As a result, she and Conrad work to convince Bell that these trials are not worth the risk. Meanwhile, Mina, Austin and Kit must set aside their competitive nature and work together on a patient whose health is quickly deteriorating and Devon uses Julian (guest star Jenna Dewan) as the beta tester for a product he's designed in the all-new "Trial & Error" episode of THE RESIDENT airing Monday, Nov. 5 (8:00-9:00 PM ET/PT) on FOX. Another great episode.

I really was worried about Jessie. No one is safe in this show, so her storyline was a real nail-biter. Loved the trust Nic has in Conrad and that with Jessie's life on the line she went with Conrad's risky approach.

Really liked that Mina is back working with AJ, but I like it that she wants to continue to work with Kit as well. She clearly appreciates Ortho more than she did before.

I am not even going to say anything about Devon here. Like seriously??????

But LOVED the dance. Both of them actually. Can't wait to rewatch it.

Great episode! Devon finally kissed Julian! I know..I know...but they have excellent chemistry! AJ and Mina are so married

happy they are back together! Loved the dancing at the end with everyone!

I asked my sister why do people keep dying on this show, then realized it’s a hospital show, so it’s inevitable.

Great episode! Nic & Conrad just keep getting better & better!

Devon & Julian.

He’s not happy with his fiancé, you can tell. Especially if she wants to move to San Francisco for the journalism job. That’s gonna be a dealbreaker.

I know...he’s absolutely not happy with his fiancé. I think the job offer was the final nail in the coffin of their relationship

He's developing feelings for Julian. That's not fair to her or his fiancé to keep leading them on (even if unintentionally) and I hope he ends it soon with Priya, even if he doesn't get into a relationship right away with Julian.

Yes it is definitely okay for him to develop feelings but he should have kept his distance until he had the talk with Priya.

I really hope that Devon doesnt marry Priya! Its clear his heart isn't really in it and they are in two different places. i really think he needs to be honest about what happened and then they should break up. I dont like this cheating storyline. I realize the kiss was an emotional unexpected kiss but still. I do think that he and Julian have really good chemistry and I enjoyed the kiss selfishly but again, I dont like the circumstances with it. It seems others are catching on too.

Nothing with Conrads dad this week? I thought maybe he'd be involved in the trials. He and Nic were adorable in the episode as always. I was glad that Nic's sister was okay, but that is so sad about her friend.

Glad that Bell actually did the right thing in the episode for once.
