this episode had sooooo many callbacks/nods to the comics!

- mentions of victor mancha (esp. victor being potentially evil in the future!)
- karolina/julie, even if it wasn't necessarily julie power (and nico being jealous!)
- karolina going to college in the future
- nico being away from the group learning about herself and doing other stuff
- alex being evil in the future
- chase going back in time to save gert

the ending felt SO MUCH like the original ending to the comics (vol 1, issue 18) with that open-ended but optimistic/hopeful ending. if we never get any more live action runaways stuff, i'm happy.

the kids went back and changed their futures for the better. karolina and nico promised they'd find each other, no matter what, and future!nico made sure that present!nico would know that it's worth it to keep holding on. i love how it was obvious that future!k, even though she'd been hurt, she would have taken future!nico back in a heartbeat. they really are soulmates.

I finished, it was a beautiful last episode. But hoestly it was the literal definition of bittersweet. Bc there is so many more adventures in store for these kids, also looking at the comics. So much potential. But we will never see it. I'm pretty sad and will miss the gang a lot.

I still hope just as with the comics, someone will pic it up, maybe even disney+ at some point, but with the original cast of course.

I like the team ups. I love them going back.

I get the bittersweet ending. Them going to breakfast. Starting their lives over.

A little cliffhanger-y with the Alex note. But still a "good" ending.

No major cliffhanger. A tease with the note. But the current arc is resolved.

I will have to watch the finale again, to me it felt a little flat . Future past present ..

Left me with more questions then answers . leading up to the finale , i really liked how the story was playing out .
