I also like that the show is not too dark. It neither is so dark and gloomy as the latest season of AoS nor as forced funny as some of the latest arrowverse seasons.

agreed. i think for the most part they do a good job of balancing the light and serious aspects. which was how it was in the comics, too.

And that's REAL. That's life.

YES that it's a great balance of dark and humor. And utilizes those genres at appropriate times!

yes, agreed! that's why runaways has always been my favorite comic series. the show does an excellent job of conveying that same tone.

Really awesome when the tone of the work continues with an adaptation. You can really tell that Josh LOVES this series.

you can! i know creators always say they love the source material, but you can see that josh is actually a real fan and knows what the comics fandom likes.

That is true it makes the show so great. I think the titans could've been great too, but it's done by greg berlanti who also does the arrowverse and I think he never cared all too much about the comics.

I only watch the Arrow-verse for Clark/Superman/Tyler Hoechlin. I got annoyed at the rest of the CW shows and will just watch the crossover for my man.

Marvel knows what it's doing. The amount of times that the MCU has paralleled the comics (and I only pay attention to the Winter Soldier/Bucky stuff because...again, bias...) A+ And 1x10 with the OUTFITS just had me in major *SQUEEEEEEE* mode. I love the little things.

i guess technically legends of tomorrow is arrow-verse ... i watched about 1/2 of the 1st season and then gave up. based on promos and stuff i thought it was giving me a runaways vibe (this was a couple years ago when the show first premiered). but in the end it just left me cold. and i didn't like any of the romances,
