as long as gert is willing to give chase a chance, if chase does right by her, that should be enough.

Which is another issue from Gert. "Willing to give Chase a chance..." I hope she is. I hope she doesn't try to blow him off when he tries to tell her / explain his feelings.

she might be hesitant at first, which i get. but i think she'll give him a chance.

And they've set that up. Said that. And even Gert said that to Chase. So they'll need each other. Their insecurities. But the other can, at times, pull it away.
