☽ NICO MINORU ("Sister Grimm") is the daughter of dark wizards and a witch capable of manipulating magic and one of the original Runaways. She becomes the group's de facto leader and later briefly joins A Force, a female superhero group.

★ KAROLINA DEAN ("Lucy in the Sky") is the daughter of alien invaders and one of the original Runaways. She is a solar-powered alien known as a Majesdanian. She briefly was a part of Avengers Academy and later attended Ponoma college.

☽ NICO MINORU is a Wiccan who isolates herself with her gothic appearance and a member of the Runaways. She has the ability to use the Staff of One. Unlike the comics, Nico does not summon the Staff of One through self-harm; instead, she powers it via mental connection. She is played by Lyrica Okano.

★ KAROLINA DEAN is an alien passing as a human, burdened by her religious upbringing, who wants to pursue her own desires instead of following in her mother's footsteps. She is a member of the Runaways. Karolina has the ability of flight, to glow with rainbow-colored light, and shoot beams of light. She is played by Virginia Gardner.
