He might not have ever met Karolina because of his condition. We don't know how long he's been "not back." it seemed like the pilot was gonna be a healing for him that would allow PRIDE to dissolve. So he could have been "gone" for years.



As for the comics, both her parents were aliens. And on Earth, they were both actors. So they did kind of use that on the show. But Jonah didn't exist in the comics. There wasn't confusion about her parentage.

We better get an answer in S2. WHAT IS KAROLINA?!
