Probably for that very reason. To show how Karolina really isn't into it. And I think Chase got something, even if he didn't know why. He stopped "crushing" on her (though I don't think he ever really did) after that.

Also, TV show. For the drama.

Pretty much all of this.

Also Karolina kissed a (random) dude in the comics when she was feeling depressed about being gay/being an alien/crushing on Nico because she wanted to "feel normal". I guess maybe that's what they were lowkey copying.

True. I guess that's over with and I'm good that we got that out of the way in S1 because I just want BROTP moments between these two going forward.

Yes I'm glad they let us know that things were not going to go forward with them quickly. It would have been much worse to draw out their potential relationship. Now they can focus on their friendship which I am really looking forward to.

I was also worried that they're going to draw out these two until the finale or something. I think it's a blessing in disguise that S1 was only 10 eps.

It’s better the show gives it straight to the audience about who really likes who, instead of leading them on.

Ugh. No thanks. Especially since it was shown in the first episode that Karolina was leaning more towards the ladies. She took her bracelet off for "freedom" after seeing the two girls kiss. It would have been the stupidest things to keep acting like K/C was a possibility when she was never into him.

I was already super irritated by that kiss and I was wondering when Chase will wake up and realize that Karolina doesn't like him. At least the show was also not directly showing that Karolina fancied him, I'd be super irritated if that was the case.
