They also casted 3 japanese americans for the minoru family not just random asian americans.

What do you guys think Jonah is? I talk to a person who worked on the comics and we discussed something we believe is true. What do you guys think? Not posting it because I don't know if any of you read the comics.

He could be part of the Gibborim that the church was founded from. Those creatures underground in the comics. Eitherway, some sort of alien creature.

i mean the show kind of wants you to think he's the gibborim (i mean he's ageless, and in s1 he did say the church was founded because of him). but he could be majesdanian (just a highly changed majesdanian, for some reason, because he should not have the problems he has if he was canonically majesdanian). but either way he's not human, clearly.
