That's true, Amy. Hopefully they do explain Old Lace's telepathic connection on the show and how they are linked.

I did hear that they only wrote in that scene with Gert letting go of Old Lace for budget reasons? Because I also know that Old Lace ran away with them as per the comics.

I wonder if that means Old Lace will be used sparingly for the series because I imagine they will have the same budget concerns with each season.

Considering budget issues, I thought they did a pretty good job with Old Lace on the show. She's actually in a good number of episodes.

I was actually thinking we'd get her for like only 2 eps.
