Biography
Originally a side-project of front man from Something Corporate, Andrew McMahon, Jack’s Mannequin has quickly and continually been rising in popularity since 2004.

In 2004, Something Corporate were no longer under contract for any label, prompting many of its members to take a break and form new bands or perform in solo projects. McMahon took the time away to write songs of a very intimate and personal nature, knowing they would not make it to any Something Corporate album. Later that year, he sat down in a studio and began recording tracks with producer Jim Wirt, soon adding Anderson into the recordings on guitar and for back-up vocals. In March 2005 - adding to the group, Sullivan on bass, McMillan on drums and Brautbar on guitar, the band played their first show at Molly Malone’s Irish Pub in Los Angeles.

Yesss, I stood out in the rain for an hour waiting for him to come out, and when he finally did, I bawled my eyes out. He called me sweetheart, and took my camera out my hands so he could take the picture. And then let me take a pic of his tattoos.
