Grace52373        Avatars by Pomc      Avatars by sourburst Biography: Robert Carlyle (OBE) is one of the most successful British actors of his generation. Born in Maryhill, Glasgow, he started acting at the age of 21, after being inspired by a copy of Arthur Miller's 'The Crucible'. He is a graduate of the Scottish Academy of Music and Drama, which also produced actors such as Alan Cumming, Billy Boyd, John Hannah and David Tennant. His breakout role was in crime drama 'Cracker', which he shortly followed with 'Hamish Macbeth'. While still filming 'Hamish', he simultaneously starred in the films 'Trainspotting' and 'The Full Monty', launching a successful and varied film career. Over the course of the last twenty years he has played roles as diverse as Bond villains, outlaws, cannibals, kings and priests, as well as more subtle, emotional roles. He has recently returned to television, playing Dr Nicholas Rush in Stargate Universe, and currently stars as the enigmatic Rumplestiltskin/Mr Gold in ABC's hit show, Once Upon a Time. This man deserved an Emmy (not just a nomination), but the Academy failed him there. The least he can do is have his own forum.
I adore/worship/idolize him..........I fell hard and fast. He's a remarkably brilliant actor who has brought me to tears on more than one occasion; I can't believe anyone can be that good. Plus, Bobby is so kind and gentle, a genuinely wonderful soul - and he's so generous to his fans. I love the guy. Jioriina, thank you - phenomenal job!!! Oh those photos......... __________________

I actually had a dream about him this weekend. It was very sweet & innocent, I swear!
He was in a city somewhere between takes for some movie and a small group of fans approached him. Well, one said she wanted to kiss his feet, so he (jokingly) called her bluff and lifted up his foot. She chickened out, so I raised my hand and said I would do it. He looks over at me and I kiss two fingers and press them to his foot. Apparently he thought it was cute so he gave me a quick peck on the lips and ran off. Heehee! That was a great way to wake up in the morning. I very rarely dream (or remember my dreams), and I have to say he's the first celebrity I've ever dreamt about. I have dreamt of characters, but it was definitely RC in my dream.
