Sebastian Stan plays the troubled prince so well and the emotions make you feel for him: the Jack-Silas scene in the premier when his father reveals he knows his son is gay, Jack-Michelle when he shows his insecurity and jealousy and the recent Jack-David scene where the prince confesses he wished David never rescued him and has no idea who David is; a favorite moment in the series, due to the possible underlying meaning of what Jack and David’s relationship actually is — there are multiple interpretations of the Bible’s portrayal. Emmy nominations are coming next month, and though it’s doubtful, Sebastian Stan deserves ‘Best Supporting Actor in a Drama Series.’
