[Artemis]

Sailor Moon first began as a manga in 1991 and evolved into a Japanese anime series, which first aired in 1992, in Japan. The series was dubbed in English and premiered in 1995. In 2003, a live-action series was created and aired in Japan, called Pretty Guardian Sailor Moon, which follows the manga more so than the anime.

The anime has five season, called arcs, though only the first four were dubbed in English (though all five have English subtitles).

4 - Sailor Moon Super S / Dream arc

Though I'm so so glad I didn't have to watch Sailor Moon in english. All those name changing get's me to puke. Sorry.

But to Sailor Moon, I loved that show as a child.

Sailor Moon was my favourite TV show when I was growing up.

Well, luckily I got all the seasons on vhs (eck) so I've seen it all subbed. Though, I first got into it around 1999, on Cartoon Network, so I first saw it dubbed. And when I finally saw it subbed, omg, it's sooo hard trying to catch it back in English. It's SO BAD! And funny. But funny bad.

The voices changed, too. They didn't have consistant people playing them.

And Luna? Eh, Luna sounded like an old aunt in the dubbed. But in the original, she sounded younger, thankfully. It makes more sense that way.

I want to own all of it.
(I was going to say own all of the 'seasons' but I suppose that would be incorrect - I remember reading an article that commented on how people always incorrectly referred to the arcs? as seasons. I can't quite remember if it was arcs.)
I tried to buy them but they don't have it!
I think I have to order it at this comic store...
But I never go there.

The version I watched was English.

I have the first arc on DVD, and I want to get the rest like that, but I don't know if they've put them on DVD, actually. I should check.

But, definitely try to catch the sub (Japanese with English SUBtitles). It's way more interesting.

I have like 3 episodes of the first arc on video.
I'm not sure about the last two but they definitely have the first 3 arcs on DVD because I borrowed them off someone.
They had to order it though and it was pretty hefty (cost wise).

The DVDs are English though.
I think it would be strange going from English to Japanese.

I like how they had different 'evil' people in each arc: Queen Beryl, the trolls, the negaverse, Mistress 9, ...I think there was a circus one and I haven't seen the one with the Sailor Stars.

I really liked the Queen Beryl arc, it is probably my favourite but I also liked the negaverse arc and I like the outer planet scouts and they only begin to appear in Mistress 9.

Was Chibi Chibi (the really miniature one) their daughter as well?
