Not really, Special Requests is good as a twice a year poll, this is only the second Special Request ever and there wasn't even enough submissions to fill the 25 openings.

I do like the new guidelines though about if there are 10 votes or less etc...

Just because a lot of the time people might think, 'oh they're always on the poll, I can vote for them next month', but with the new guidelines, if you don't vote for that person/artists/tv show, you might not be able to for 3 months.

So in the end, the votes are going to where they should be.

does it matter if you start a campaing thread but arent going to put it into polls for at least 3 months or more? or does it have to be one month before your going to put it into request

I'd prefer if it was the month before, but if you want to start it early to try and get some supporters for it doesn't get 10 or less votes go ahead, however if it's been submitted and the campaign thread dies at the end of the month If I notice it, it'll be removed with the 10 or less and boards that got voted in.

No, officially, people should be directing people to the campaign thread to join the list there to get pmed as a reminder... a signature should be enough if you post on that thread as well.

hmm can I ask why Evie's thread is opened and Matthew Fox's thread isn't? I don't think this is fair since both was disqualified.

and if Johnny (and when I said Johnny I mean only HIM!!!!) didn't answer me, I'll open a new Matthew Fox Campaign thread, just let everyone knows.
Anyway, sorry in advanced for mentioning it here. I don't know wherelse to ask.

Might want to read the announcement and rules pertaining to other campaign threads... we have general threads like the guidelines thread more suitable to these type of questions rather than expecting me to see an answer right away here... as those threads I generally check first as those are the ones I think to check for questions... Point is Evi was DQed first... this thread has been edited/removed of some content from that point on... any other thread will get the same treatment... though next time I ask that any such questions be asked on the Guidelines thread as that's where they belong rather than trying to stir up anything between campaigns by asking on an inappropriate topic intentional or not it doesn't belong here.

From now on infractions will be given out to users who break the rules here either by starting trouble on other campaigns, or generally anything in the new announcement covers a lot of it. This hasn't been something I've been doing but I've realized recently that it's necessary.

ETA: The post two above was moved from a campaign thread to this thread as this is where they should be asked.

Okay, I get it, it won't happen again but you didn't anwser my question.
Shiran opened the thread again but we lost everything, the list of supporters, the graphics, everything. You say "all threads get the same treatment" but I don't see that happening here. At least not with Matthew Fox. I mean if both actors got disqualified the right thing to do is or close both threads or keep them opened, right? That would be the most fair thing to do.

By the way, can I ask why he got disqualified again?

Yeah, I really didn't want to post anything 'cause it seemed like the last time I said anything the Matthew Fox Campaign thread had... vanished, but I still didn't understand why. Was everything running smoothly on the Evie thread? That's fine. But I hardly recall any bashing or shipper fights going on at the Matthew thread

I read something about the thread coming back after a cooling down period... who says we're not cool now? Or haven't been a day ago?
