Mo!!!
  I really thought MM brought a lot of humanity to Darcy. He brought out those shy, sensitive qualities about him. I always thought Darcy had to grow up much more quickly by being thrown into the situation in caring for the estate and his sister at such a young age after losing his parents. He's brilliant at it, but it still must have been a life-changing thing for him.__________________

you know I agree with you whole-heartedly Ash!
 it was all in those little glances and small gestures. you could see the human being in there. He just thought he had to live up to a certain standard and decorum. thankfully Lizzy came along to change him  __________________

Can I please be added to the list? I finished the book a few weeks ago and I totally loved it. I watched the movie recently and adoorred it too.  __________________

 So glad you're here! Mo, you rock. This should be the official P&P place of squeeage now. I actually want to watch the movie again. I wish December didn't seem so far away for the polls. Mo, we were talking in the Jurley thread about how articulate Darcy's letter was. I mean really...if he had wrote a letter like that to me...  It's just beautiful. I love when MM does the voiceover for it in the movie.  __________________
