Just saw that myself. It's a shame because I really liked Alex and the Alex/Piper relationship, toxic as it was. This will probably mean Piper/Larry all over the place next season too, which I would really rather not have. But, these things happen on shows when the actors aren't locked into contracts for years. The cast of characters is strong enough that the show will still be great regardless . It seems a strange career move for her though.
I read in the article that she will be written out in such a way that she will be able to return. So she might take the fall for Piper over beating Pennsatucky and get sent down to max? __________________

I am here thinking the same thing.. she'll mostly for sure be sent to max but god.. are they really going to have her take the blame for Piper and then not show up possibly ever again? that's super sad..
