Yes, we're getting 14 episodes (compared to 8 last season).

I agree, especially because it took a few episodes for us to get to know the characters. I'm glad season 2 will have more episodes but I wish we didn't have to wait this long

I didn't know that. That makes me so happy. I really adored The Night shift. It wasn't perfect but the characters were there and well rounded. I can't wait to see how the grow next season.

I'm really glad too, it is hard to get to know the characters in only 8 episodes especially combined with a long hiatus so I'm happy we're getting more episodes
next season
