Fantastic idea, Paulina This sounds like a much more lasting option than opening boards for shows that don't quite stand a chance. With the long hiatuses + all episodes at once it's best to have a board dedicated just to Netflix, instead of cramping all their shows on the TV board. Add me!

I had the day off, so did something thinking, random thoughts follow:

General threads: Fan Art, Icons, News, Off Topic (possible title Binge Watching Brigade?), Post Count, Social Media.

Netflix Original Movies Thread – if a movie is highly anticipated, very popular and leads to a lot of discussion possibility to open a separate thread (most recent examples would be Christmas Inheritance and Bright).

Netflix Original TV Shows – I’d suggest opening threads for shows that at least two people are watching and have general threads for every season, separately as to avoid spoilers. Most popular shows could have additional threads for characters/actors, romantic and platonic relationships, etc.

Example --> 13 Reasons Why --> Season 1, Season 2, Clay Jensen/Dylan Minnette, Hannah Baker/Katherine Langford, Clay Jensen & Hannah Baker, Social Media, etc.

Other shows that seem to be popular on (in the sense that they could have threads beyond general ones): A Series of Unfortunate Events, Jessica Jones, Luke Cage, OITNB, Sense8.

Shows that already have a board: A link to the board + possibility of opening a general thread, would suggest just one general thread to make sure that it won’t take away traffic from the boards which are struggling in the off-season.

Other ideas: Viewing Party Threads, Rewatch Threads, Embassies.

I just based most popular on what I saw on . I think that some shows wouldn't need threads for every character and one thread per season would be enough. But it all depends on how many fans there are, so I just posted the ones I know are popular on .

Hope this clarifies what I mean, if not, I'll try to rephrase it.

I meant that are we going to open general threads for each show/movie? Not referring to ship threads or character threads. Like shows that may not be popular.

Like for example I'm not sure how popular Mako Mermaids or Project Mc2 is on here, but I like those shows and I was also hoping to have a thread for them too.

Oh, I see. I'm a bit sleep deprived but I get it now.

It would all depend if there are at least two people watching a show, would be easy to find out if there are other people on the board watching it/interested in discussing it. I see no problem in opening threads for less popular shows, I'm still mourning that The Get Down was so underrated and got cancelled. I'd love to have a thread if other people would want to still discuss the show, even though a year has almost passed since it aired.

I think we could start off with the most popular shows then maybe do a voting? I remember back when we had a voting on the HP board to decide which ship threads would get added, and it worked because those threads are still (fairly) active up to this day. It was a long time ago but I thought it was a good decision in order to keep the board less cluttered.

Add me plz i personally think it is a smart idea netflix has so much to.give movies plus tv shows downfall is the fact with t.v. shows you need do wait but the quality is perfect but it kills the FF boards so having a thread like this would be awesome
