What a brilliant season opener! NCIS LA just surprises me more everyday with its genius-ness! I'd say soon it'd even surpass NCIS itself! I can see the show grow even better! It's such a great mix of character storylines and action! I'm so proud of it! It does the NCIS legacy very very proud!

Will these reveals tell us a bit about how she got to be so spunky? “It definitely informs why she is who she is, and it also informs the real truth behind why she became an agent,” Brennan told me. In a previous episode, he reminds, “We revealed that her father was murdered, so we explore that, and it is gut-wrenching and heart-wrenching.” Teases the boss, “It’ll be very interesting to see how she comes out of that [revisiting]– or whether she does.”
