Damiano apologised on Twitter (but I guess he posted it on IG too, I didn't check) for something about the Kanye west cover they did last month, honestly I didn't even notice the problem, but I'm not familiar with the song. Some people on Twitter weeks ago wanted him to apologise and some had even cancelled them for this

I know he didn’t mean any malice when he said a certain word and I know people from other countries and cultures don’t even know the implications of the word (been through this time and time again with k-pop) but it’s good and important that he is being educated about it. I’m sure it won’t happen again. People on the internet are always cancelling someone.

Yeah, honestly I didn't get all those who was getting at his throat for singing that song, yelling at cancellation. Sure, it wasn't right, but as you said he surely didn't know the implications of it, but I noticed that for some people this is impossible even to think of.

It's never too late to educate yourself and he's doing it now. But no, people were already saying they would stop listening to their music for this.

Some people are quick to cancel and are NOT fans of people learning and growing from their mistakes. If they want to leave the fandom then so be it. I think this was a good thing for him, and the whole band, to learn now as they are starting to get more attention globally. If it happens again after all this then that becomes a different story

But I like to think they'll do better.

Yeah, they'll surely learn more and be more careful now that they're globally famous (they're #16!). He surely never paid attention to such words in the past, I feel is something you notice more if you're american or english and when you listen to songs in english it can happen to take the song as it is and don't focus a lot on the meaning (also slurs and slang are not so easy to know).

Thanks for the pics and links! Personally I'm not a fan of rosaries used as necklaces, they're not jewels imho, but she still looks gorgeous!

Today they received the highest award the city of Rome can give to deserving people. Kinda proud

Just I wonder how they managed to dress like that and not fainting

like there are 100F° in Rome right now, who the hell thought it was a good idea for Damiano to wear a velvet suit?? Same for the others. I would have fainted in front of the mayor lol

Oh well, but VELVET! I was like are you kidding me?

Anyway there will be a new concert in Rome next year, but I decided I won't go because it's standing and I can't bear to stand for hours at a concert, especially in July, with the heat. But even with cold weather, I need to be seated

that's why I rarely go to concerts and all those I went were inside theatres. It would also need for me to stay at least four hours in advance to take a good "placement" even with the most expensive tickets available.

Hopefully they'll add more concerts in places with seats, too. I became a fan too late, so the other two shows in Rome in December were already sold out
