Looks like ARMYS were embroiled in a cyberbullying case. They ran an American rapper, Cupcakke (her image is kind of crass but I don't know her as a person so who am I to judge), off Twitter/Instagram for a few days after she made a sexual remark about Jungkook by writing comments to her telling her to go kill herself/die, that she wasn't human, saying tons of racists things, ect... OK, I get it that they're mad, but she hasn't said anything they themselves haven't already said. I mean, they've been sexualizing Jungkook since he was underage, but suddenly he's too pure and innocent to be talked about that way? I've seen the fanfics the fandom has written and trust me, those were not pure thoughts. This isn't their first case of cyberbullying either and their herd mentality is disturbing. I mean, they started a massive campaign to get Twitter to delete EXO's official account when it first opened by promising gifts if they could make it happen. And that didn't really work so they started to mass block/report EXO-L fan accounts and succeeded in getting a few of the huge ones deleted. I find it very hypocritical of the fandom to be so hateful to anyone who says things about their Oppars they don't like when BTS always talks about spreading love. I'm not saying ARMYS are the only fandom to act like this (cuz lord knows every fandom has that one section that is always nasty to other fandoms/nonfans), but they always seem to be the very worst at it. I hope they can grow up some.

that's crazy, but you can always rely on certain sections of any fan-base to go too far, especially in this day and age. I don't know about you guys, but I was raised better than that, internet or not.

Me too. I'm always shocked at what comes out of some fans mouths, especially when they're like 13, 14. I would never dare to say those things at that age. I guess it's easier to be nasty when you're sitting behind a computer screen.

Unfortunately fan bases are like that I guess it's just easier for them to do it online which they think they are anonymous when they aren't. I guess the easiest way is to ignore them.

Sigh. Yes social media brings out the craziest, rudest, and crudest in some people. I'm a huge BTS fan, but I'm aware at how problematic part of the fandom can be. Like said, every fandom has the people that kind of ruin it for everyone else. Because BTS has such a large online following, they have more fans that take it too far. It just can be a mess. Stan culture in general is. A big reason why I came back to was because people talk in a civil way here whereas on other sites it's like people are just waiting to pounce on each other and start fights. I'm too old for that nonsense I just want to enjoy some music and variety shows and get on with my day.

Now for the more fun stuff! The jam packed week of comebacks has begun! I really liked Sonamoo's song! You go, girlies! I agree that Seventeen's could be a grower. That guitar came in strong! Whew! Day6 always puts out quality. I like that they used a xylophone instead of a piano this go around. I don't really have an opinion either way on the Super Junior comeback videos. I'll give them another listen later.
