Welcome to the Homeland campaign thread



HOMELAND is a psychological thriller that tells the story of Carrie Anderson (Claire Danes), a CIA officer battling her own demons, who becomes convinced that the intelligence that led to the rescue of Scott Brody (Damian Lewis) a U.S. soldier who had been missing and presumed dead for nine years, was a setup and may be connected to an Al Qaeda plot to be carried out on American soil. Mandy Patinkin will portray Saul, a veteran CIA Division Chief who is Carrie’s (Danes) boss and mentor. HOMELAND is written by Howard Gordon, Alex Gansa and Gideon Raff, and is based on Raff’s Israeli television series “Prisoners of War.” The series will be produced by FOX 21.



Other cast members include Morena Baccarin (as Scott's wife Jessica Brody), Diego Klattenhoff (as Marine colonel Mike Faber) and David Harewood (as CIA Deputy Director David Estes).

Homeland will premiere on October 2, 2011 at 10PM on Showtime.

You're added. Welcome to the thread. I'm looking forward to seeing Morena on TV again too. I still remember Claire from the Romeo + Juliet movie with Leonardo DiCaprio and Damian Lewis from movies like Dreamcatcher and Keane. I've also seen Mandy before, but I don't remember where. The producers have definitely assembled an all-star cast and I'm sure they'll all be good and believable in their roles.

and he left both shows, he doesn't like to stay too long in a tvshow.

I was lucky enough to have watched the pilot a couple of weeks ago and I thought it was fantastic, but last night was the official series premiere on Showtime. I've looked around a bit for reviews and from what I've seen, the reaction was overwhelmingly positive and the ratings were great as well:

You're added. Yeah, it doesn't look good. I suspect that 'Homeland' is probably the kind of show that doesn't really appeal to the majority of the demographic, which is a shame because I think it's the best show on TV at the moment. Maybe I can make more people aware of this campaign by posting a link on the 'Homeland' discussion thread on the television board once Showtime starts airing season 2.

Yes I don't understand, this show is one of the best this season but yeah it'll maybe bring some people if you post the link on the discussion thread of Homeland =)
